Perhentian dive shop and sitesWelcome to Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Malaysia! Steffen Sea Sports, located on Coral Bay, Pulau Kecil. Established in 1991 one of the first dive shops on the small island. Close to all the dive sites the shop has 5 speed boats and the longest trip takes around 20mins to arrive at the dive site. With a team of 6 instructors speaking languages including English, Chinese, Malay and Japanese, we can accommodate any first time diver and with almost 30 dive sites, including Sugar Wreck, Tokong Laut and Vietnamese Wreck we can challenge any experienced diver.

For those interested in trying diving for the first time we offer the Discover Scuba Dive, taking approx 2 hours, it gives you the ideal setting in shallow clear waters to discover a love for the underwater world and coral reefs.

If you know that diving is going to be for you the PADI Open Water Course is available, taking 3-4 days we offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to learn the skills you will need to dive in the open ocean. The course focuses on practical learning and independent study which provides flexibility to learn at your own pace, so we begin the course with the first open water dive on day 1.

How to Get to Perhentian

Steffen Sea Sport is located in Terengganu, Malaysia. It is located in Pulau Perhentian Kecil. To get to Pulau Perhentian, one can catch a boat ride from Kuala Besut Jetty.

BY AIR

FROM KUALA LUMPUR

Malaysia Airlines(MAS) and Air Asia provide daily flight services from Kuala Lumpur International Airport(KLIA) to two of the nearest airport. Fly either to KOTA BHARU or KUALA TERENGGANU.

  • KOTA BHARU airport is the recommended route as it is the nearest airport to Kuala Besut jetty. The journey from the airport will take approximately 45 minutes.
  • KUALA TERENGGANU airport is a little further. It is approximately 90 minutes from the airport to Kuala Besut Jetty.

Note: Taxi or limousine services are easily available from KOTA BAHRU or KUALA TERENGGANU airports to KUALA BESUT JETTY.
