PADI Dive Master

PADI Dive MasterTo become a diving professional you start your dive career with the PADI Divemaster Course. It takes a minimum of 6 weeks to complete, you need to learn many skills and the same theory as the instructors must learn, to become a proficient and safe Divemaster. You will work in a close team with our PADI Instructors to develop your knowledge and skills to become a dive professional. You will learn to assist Instructors and supervise dive activities by working with your Instructor on real dives and training classes.

What will I do?
Learn dive leadership through classroom and independent study sessions and complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water. As all our Instructors also lead dives you will be going on as many dives as you can to build up experience and learn at first hand the job of a Dive Master.

What do I need to start?
You need to be a certified PADI Rescue Diver or have an equivalent qualification by another training organisation.
Have a minimum of 20 logged dives and be at least 18 years of age.
A medical clearance signed by a physician is necessary.

What comes next?
With this certification you can seek employment at a dive centre or you continue your training to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor.

What does it cost?
The Divemaster Course costs RM 2500. This includes unlimited training dives and equipment rental (You will need to bring your own dive knife and surface marker buoy). It includes the PADI Divemaster materials (books, RDP's, slates, etc.) but not the PADI membership fee which must be paid direct to PADI upon Certification.
