PADI Rescue Diver

PADI Rescue DiverThis course is fun! It’s challenging! It’s one of the most rewarding PADI courses. You will build your confidence, skills and knowledge. You will learn to look after your own and other diver’s safety and develop greater awareness of what is happening around you. The increased confidence of knowing what to do in an emergency if you are diving alone with your buddy is one of the many benefits of completing this course.

What is the Rescue Diver Course?
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. The course is divided into 5 training sessions all conducted in shallow water and 4 Open water Scenario dives, where your instructor will test what you have learned and how you respond to a simulated diver emergency in a realistic situation.

What do I need to start?
Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or a equivalent certification by another organisation) to participate in the full Rescue Diver program. You must have completed the Emergency First Response course or another recognised CPR training course like the within the last 24 months.

What is the next step?
Go Pro! Become a PADI Divemaster or if you don't want to work in the industry but still want recognition as an experienced diver become a Master Scuba Diver.

What does it cost?
The Rescue Diver Course takes 4 days and costs RM 1250 including equipment rental and certification. Included in the price is the PADI rescue diver manual and Emergency action slate.
